about
Sambus coaches
Sambus Coaches’ journey started in 1966, when Mr. Sami Taşocak began working as an apprentice in the bus bodybuilding industry. After 30 years of experience, Sambus Minibus Design was founded in 1998.
Our company’s line of business kept growing day by day, and after the second-generation Mr. Bayram Taşocak joined the company in 2013, Sambus Coaches became much stronger than before. With the first IVECO chassis vehicle manufacturing and obtaining the homologation certificate in 2014, we had the opportunity to exhibit our vehicles and participate in our first international fair in 2015.
30+
years of experience
While we initially had a working area of 250 m², we increased our capacity to 350 vehicles per year by expanding to a working area of 1,000 m² in 2014, 6,000 m² in 2016, and 14,000 m² in 2019.
Our journey has included many important milestones:
- During the World Cup in Qatar 2022, Sambus Coaches partnered with the dealer of Mercedes in Qatar and delivered 50 city buses to support fan transport during the event. These vehicles are now used for local transport by Qatari citizens.
- Sambus Coaches’ new model ICARO won the award for Microbus of the Year 2023 in Spain. This model continues to be one of Sambus Coaches’ best-selling vehicles.
- Alongside many new projects, patents, and award-winning designs, Sambus Coaches earned the title of R&D Center and achieved one of our goals: entering the world of electric vehicles and mobility. As of 2023, our R&D center is approved by the Ministry of Industry.
- Over the last five years, and with the support of our partners, Sambus Coaches has won numerous tenders in countries such as Israel, Poland, France and Germany.
- We are pleased to announce that Sambus Minibus Design will continue its journey in the United States in 2024 under the name Sambus Coaches in partnership with Mr. Mustafa Özdemir.
